CRYSTAL CLEAR

A workshop in collaboration with Murano’s high school.

This project aimed at stimulating and inspiring the students of Murano’s local high school by offering a contemporary and engaging approach to glassmaking. The workshop highlighted key aspects of design, production, marketing, and sales to create original products with high aesthetic, conceptual, and creative value.

FOUNDATION

After learning the foundations of design and storytelling, the students are invited to develop their own glass concepts which are later produced inside the school’s furnace. The participants are then paired with a photographer who helps them to professionally style and shoot their designs.

FINAL OUTPUT

At the end of the course, the students teamed up with Display to develop a custom online shop to showcase and sell their pieces. The gallery-like website was designed to enhance the artistic value and quality of each craft by highlighting the uniqueness of the project through a detail-focused photography selection.
