Recovering selected glass leftovers from outside the furnaces in Murano, Marie Méon and Harold Berard have developed a lighting collection consisting of nine totem-shaped lamps. The pieces — whose design was inspired by the Memphis movement — were assembled mechanically, with several local craftsmen contributing to the production.
Born out of Méon and Berard’s original approach to production waste, Murano Upcycling embraces recycling as «a philosophy beyond an aesthetic». Each piece is unique, signed and numbered.
