Located at Dorsoduro 3276, Venice, our first store took over a space formerly occupied by Giordana Naccari’s boutique ‘Angolo del Passato’, where Marie first exhibited her work in 1994.

The renovation was led by architect David Leclerc who employed steel elements—door frames and handles—developed and fabricated by Officina Zanon, while the table and chairs ensemble was crafted in collaboration with Pietro Carraro on the basis of Enzo Mari’s Autocostruzione project.

The concept store acts as a multipurpose location designed to promote creative exchange and community—it wants to serve as an aggregation point transcending commerciality.

Upon entering the door, visitors are met by a gallery-like display area and are invited to engage with the products by testing Laguna~B’s drinking experience first-hand. Additionally, the space features a fully functioning curated library.

Curated by Venice-based studio bruno, one of Spazio’s walls hosts a library featuring a selection of 200 volumes, all available for consultation or borrowing. The collection comes in different formats—journals, art books, and essays—and it covers a range of different topics such as the environment, new community and work practices, photography, and culture. The library’s aesthetic was inspired by a visual exploration of historic “ex-libris” stamps.
